Also loved Commander Keen 4 (my fav out of all the Keens).

Oh man, Keen was the bomb. I remember writing down all the weird alphabet characters from Keen 1, 2 or 3 and replaying to read all the signs ^^.

Still my absolute later favorites remain Sierra and Lucasarts games.
